Hi!  I’m Rachel.  I’m a sophomore at UW Madison studying nutritional sciences (Pre-dietetics), an avid runner (just signed up for my first half marathon!), a grateful gluten-free girl, and a self-proclaimed foodie.  I live for read healthy living blogs everyday and I thought it was time to start my own!

Grateful Girl– I am a strong believer in the power of positivity and the law of attraction.  Many think I’m crazy, because I believe strongly in the book “The Secret.”  My belief is summed up as is that you can be or do anything you desire if you believe (STRONGLY) in what you want.  A part of believing is being grateful for the things you already have.  And trust me, I am.  I am SO grateful for having an amazing family, the opportunity to go to a great university, my amazing friends, an awesome boyfriend, and my new-found love for running, to name a few. Being positive and happy give my life balance and that is why I try to laugh&smile (see below) as much as possible.

I like to laugh A LOT

Gluten Free– I have not been diagnosed with celiac disease, but I have been gluten free for over 6 months.  All throughout high school and freshman year of college I had terrible digestive problems and serious fatigue.  I feel 1000X better being gluten free and that is good enough for me to stay off of it.  I LOVE to cook and I’m always trying out new gluten-free recipes when I have access to a kitchen!

Cooking makes me happier than anything

I hope you enjoy!
